As it is often the case that clients believe that we earn high commissions very easily because they only have to view a property with us once, I would like to dispel this rumour once and for all: in principle, estate agents work for both sides, i.e. for the client/seller/landlord and for the client looking for a property, which is where the term "double agent" comes from. The estate agent always provides his services in advance and only receives his agreed commission when he has earned money, usually when a rental or purchase agreement has been concluded.
What many clients don't realise is that every day as a real estate agent is a journey through a multi-faceted terrain of negotiations, challenges and ever-changing scenarios. Many clients would not trade this job with us.
Here we give you an exclusive look behind the scenes of our day-to-day work:
Market research and analysis:
We examine trends, compare prices and analyse the needs of our target groups. This market knowledge is crucial in order to provide our customers with the best possible recommendations.
Customer service and advice:
The majority of our work consists of customer support. We hold meetings, clarify concerns and offer comprehensive advice on current market conditions, financing options and legal aspects. We always focus on the individual needs and ideas of our clients.
Property presentation and marketing:
The art of presenting a property in the best possible light is one of our strengths. We photograph the property from the best angle, help to make the property "photographable", then edit the photos in terms of contrast and lighting and remove private photos. We also create informative exposés and use innovative market strategies to ensure that each property attracts the attention of potential buyers.
Legal matters:
Behind the scenes, we take meticulous care of legal matters. We review contracts, clarify potential risks and ensure that all legal requirements are met. Thorough documentation is necessary to prevent potential legal complications.
Networking and further training:
As a property agent, it is important to be constantly up to date. We maintain an extensive network, exchange ideas with colleagues and attend further training courses to constantly expand our expertise.
Flexibility and stress management:
Our industry is dynamic and requires a high degree of flexibility. Unforeseen events and sudden changes are part of everyday life. It is therefore important to have a strong stress management system in order to be able to act confidently in challenging situations.
