Haunting ghosts

We would like to amuse you today with an amusing anecdote from our day-to-day work as estate agents. Sometimes we experience things that even Hollywood couldn't stage better. Recently, we had the extraordinary pleasure of viewing a special property with a charming elderly couple who were also extraordinary.

The house itself was undoubtedly a real gem, but with a small but subtle peculiarity. During the tour, the proud owner explained to us with a mischievous smile: "This room is sometimes a bit haunted." We looked at each other in amazement, not sure if we had heard that correctly. The owner continued: "But don't worry, the ghosts are friendly and have great taste when it comes to choosing furniture!" With a gesture, he pointed to antique pieces and told us how he and his wife had come to terms with the "house spirits".

The visit was a real experience. The elderly couple told us enthusiastically about the "spooky" encounters that they had lovingly integrated into their everyday lives. The potential buyers, initially sceptical, suddenly began to embrace the unusual "roommates" and had lively discussions about which spirits would harmonise best with their own interior design.

At the end of this unconventional property adventure, the house was actually sold. The new owners now regard the "house ghosts" as endearing flatmates and even expanded the collection of antiques in the spirit of harmony.

This story shows us once again that in the world of property, it's not just square metres and floor plans that make the difference. Sometimes it takes more to find a home that suits you perfectly!
